Re: Very nice Martin. Jamie, I don't know if this is a viable suggestion or not but I wish there was a 'like' button to hit like that well known social network site has, I wouldn't be so torn over which single bike to choose

RBotM - November - BRITISH MONTH - Nominations

May I..? it's my 'mais oui'nter bike.. Not sure the frame was built by the man himself, probably one bought in and badged up as I can't locate a frame number, it's good old 531 tubed, built up with chorus 10 speed H+Son archetype 32/32 and is a little gem to ride.

Modern groupset on a Retro frame - anyone done it

Re: Re: plenty of enthusiasm from me :) just put a picture of my Aende in the autumn thread. some of the nicest bikes I have ridden are modern kit on steel frames. Lovely build that Coppell of yours, would certainly pop my eyelids open if I saw it out on a winter weekend run.

RRB Picture of the Month - November - Autumn - Nominations

I know the modern kit on retro frames isn't everyone's cuppa but there is at least some retro content here. My Aende taken a couple of weeks ago on one of it's last rides this year before being stripped down for a winter makeover, the Aende of the beginning of the Aende, or something like that...

Black Quill 120mm for 26.0 bars

Re: That's a good price sir and ordinarily I'd take a punt on that just to try it for length but I have a 130 in situ at the mo, its just a wee bit too long and I get a little more uncomfortable than I want to be after a short period of time into a ride. Appreciate the response though thanks.

Any straight chrome fork suggestions for Colnago Master Piu frame

Hello all, would anyone know a smart replacement fork solution for a master Piu frame. I was hoping I might find some used Precisa forks that would fit but that's probably not going to happen for a long time, maybe ever. frame is pearly white/purple/ 3/4 chromed stays so I can't really see...

    Flipping a carrera

Re: Re: I hope not, that would be awful :| I'm over it, definitely not taking it personally, but wanted to let the people here know it's not worth what he's asking. I've messaged him wishing him well and that I hope he finds that one idiot who will pay at his optimistic price point.

Re: Would have loved to be able to join you Steve on my Ron Cooper but I have work commitments. The tour passes right by my office when the speed will be ramping up along Upper Thanes St. So I'll be having a late lunch to catch that at least. There are some nice and quiet flat lanes out...

    dg's 90's Podium Carrera

Hi all thought I'd share my recently built Podium Carrera. The frameset popped up on evilbay a little while ago so i threw in a bid, not really expecting to win but was delighted when I did, and even more so when it arrived. Have been gathering parts as & when over the past few weeks, on a...
