    Ebay woes.

Uuuughhhh....crappy situation. In the US, packages get dropped at my door, sometimes they sit for hours on my porch before I come home, and you never interact with the driver. The whole 'you should have checked it while the driver was there' is illogical, how long is the driver supposed to...

    HARAL Chambery. Fillet Brazed.

Hello, I have a Haral Chambery frame and fork to sell. I'm located in the US. The frame measures 62cm from the center of the bottom bracket shell to the edge of the seat tube cutaway, 60 cm from the center of the seat tube to the center of the head tube, and the chainstays are 38cm. Seatpost...

    Voodoo Bizango 1998 in Bolton

Soooo, not to drag up a dead thread, but two weeks ago I picked up a Bizango. In Bolton.......Vermont, USA. Came here looking for info, this is thread number one when searching 'Bizango'. Weird.

    1987 Ritchey Ultra.

This bike is terrific. I still haven't cleaned it, but I did find the right M730 black brake for the front, and a hard-to-find set of BLACK M730 shifters (not pictured) which I didn't even know existed. Got a little bored with the black and white combo, but given the era, not many period...

1984 Ritchey Timber Wolf. Press Fit BB.

Bump-it's for sale again, not being ridden or appreciated.

    1987 Ritchey Ultra.

Re: 1987 Ritchey Ultra Thanks, I am looking forward to examining everything in detail when I take it apart to clean it up. We have a lot of warm weather coming up, I have a feeling it may get ridden again before that happens! I didn't realize the Ultra frames were tig welded in-house. I...

    1987 Ritchey Ultra.

Thanks for the offer. For now I will keep my eye on ebay, but as time passes I may get impatient and take you up on it.

    1987 Ritchey Ultra.

Thanks everyone! And yes, the grips will be replaced with something more appropriate, but I don't mind the white. Even though the front brake calipers are original, I'd prefer them in black, and will be on the lookout for the appropriate M730 single caliper. Anyone? This bike made me ponder...

1993 Cannondale M800 Beast of the East - BotE

Whoa...I was expecting red for some reason. That thing is awesome in every way, a great color combo.

    Scott Pro only 92/3

Wow. That's really cool. Not something I've ever seen or heard about in the States. I like that tubing-VooDoo Bizango used that and I loved the ride. I've never seen M900 cranks polished like that. Nice work.

    1987 Ritchey Ultra.

Over the last few years, I've ridden my 20" Ritchey Timber Comp and Miss K's 20" Ritchey Ascent back to back quite a few times, and noticed I liked how the Ascent handled. Both are essentially the same year and fit about the same. At some point, cruising the oldmountainbikes.com Ritchey...

1984 Ritchey Timber Wolf. Press Fit BB.

I have decided to put this back up for sale, it's not being ridden and deserves better. I suppose it could be a late '83, but I will err on the side of caution as it can be tough to pin down the exact year. I am located in the USA. International shipping is possible. Here are the details...

    My Cannondale SM500 1987

Re: One of my favorite paint jobs on a bike ever. I've only come across one other in this style (a road bike model), and Cannondales are pretty common here in New England. Enjoy!

NOS 1986 Fillet Brazed Serotta Adirondack DONE - 01/29/18

I have to say, this is probably the only bike I am flat-out jealous that I do not own. Like all caps JEALOUS. When I went to the Fat Chance gathering in Vermont USA a few years ago, there were some Serotta people there that really rubbed me the wrong way-maybe because one of them borrowed my...

1985 Schwinn Cimarron, In memory of 'Klunkin Larry'

Re: 1985 Schwinn Cimarron Nice work on the parts, they look great. The Cimarron has always been a personal favorite, I think it's the fillet brazing and the tapered tubing where it meets the head tube. Enjoy!

    Why Catalogue Spec?

I have picked up several 80's bikes that have had the bullmoose bars removed, newer canti's or v brakes installed, 90's rims, a bit of 90's anodized parts here and there, etc. They were 'upgraded' or parts were replaced as years went by. I understand completely why this was done-back then...

Ritchey Supercomp, American Breezer, Ibis Szazbo For Sale

How about a little more description on the Ritchey? FYI the serial number means the size is actually a 20". What's the wheelset? Are the components original (they look newer)? Is it a repaint? Is the bar/stem combo original? That's a lot of $$$ and not much to go on. Thanks

I did something to my '88 Cannondale. cce sees it!

Re: I did something to my '88 Cannondale. Can you see it? You were in the ballpark, so to speak. I'm not completely convinced the fork on there isn't bent back toward the down tube slightly. I was so focused on getting the whole thing to work correctly I never really checked the fork, and...
