I just bought myself a BBB torque wrench from Ribble. £48 in their 15% off sale and starts at 2nm. It's a really nice piece of kit. I got my verniers from ebay. They were second hand but I paid 22 quid for them - retail at about 180...I just wish I could find the buggers. Don't cut cables...

Correct, Centaur and Olympus groupsets IIRC. Lots of pics on here, and show up quite frequently NOS for sale. They weigh close to 34 Kg each :) They were also in a black/ very dark blue colour (Olympus I think)

Not on the bike, but driving over the moors from Leek late one night "something" crossed the road ahead of me. In good old movie style it was foggy for good measure. Probably the closest I got to it was 100 meters but : 1) It was big, with a long gate. 2) It wasn't a cow, horse or Llama...
