    Surely, posting it, collection only, on LFGSS would be a hassle-free of moving the frame on? I'd buy it, if I was down there. Bit of a ball-ache, (Boxing, wrapping, sorting courier) for the sake of £30 IMO.

    Re: I usually place them on a work top/hard floor (sitting on the flat dropped section) with the curved section touching a wall/door etc. (90 degree angle) If you measure from the wall to the centre of the bar top and subtract 10mm, that should give you an approximate c-c measurement.

    Re: My old Shimano 600 calipers have steel inserts in these "slots". Using some of these inserts would probably be a good way of strengthening this area up. I'm sure certain lower end Exage brakes used the inserts, too. I'm sure this bodge would be doable but some fettling would definitely...

    Re: 135bcd. They are rebranded Campagnolo Athena chainsets IIRC. The stamping/font used on the rear of the arms is very Campagnolo.
