Bontrager Race or Race lite. How to tell the difference?

I hate to ask, but are you sure it's not a privateer. The seat stay is also different - race lite has one in two parts (thick at top , thin at bottom,) privateers and races have a single tube. I am not sure how to tell the difference between a repainted race and a repainted privateer.

    streight slingshot fork 1"

You'll need to wait till I go in the garage then, but it's in pretty decent shape, grey, canti mounts only. And I repeat , only a 150mm unthreaded steerer (which is the reason I didn't use it.) If that works for you, it's yours for postage from Norway.

    streight slingshot fork 1"

I have a P2 you can have for postage if it's sexy ebough for you. One proviso - it is threadless, and cut very short, 150mm I think

    1987 Fat Chance Yo Eddy

Nice bike, decent parts and sensible price, but not 1987 - surely a typo. Mine was circa 91 and 1 inch headset.

    SingleSpeed Items

If you're willing to post abroad (Norway) then I'd be after the chainring and bolts. Can be paypal or direct transfer, and obviously I pay extra for the postage.

Honest question - what's so great about Kleins?

I've owned one and will admit to not liking it, probably because I'm short, and little frames are v. stiff to start with. But it was fast, well built and went in the right direction, and didn't have as bad a rep as crack-n-fails. It was a brand I was v familiar with b.i.t.d., and EdEdwards...

    1" rigid threadless fork

Hmm, shame as I'm loathe to see it wasted. If push comes to shove bikeman.com had them last year new, but doesn't now tho' you can always ask. I'll go and remeasure anyway

    1" rigid threadless fork

Dave - how long a headtube do you have, how long steerer do you need. I have a P2 as you describe, but it came off an Orange, and was too short for me to use on my Bontrager build. It's pretty short, only 170mmm I think. If it will work for you , you can have if for the cost of postage (but...

    Trimble TT frame on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-VINTAGE-BR ... 900wt_1126 Maybe this is the wrong section, but I have only ever seen one of these before, stuck to a triathletes backside in the US. I would imagine that is pretty stiff.....

Scott Pedersen SE brakes, good price and ships worldwide

I don't like the colour personally, but .... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-NOS-Sco ... 794wt_1073 I had these many years back and liked them a lot more than my graftons - strong, easy to setup bit prone to squeal tho'

Coolwall October 2011 - Entry Level Groupsets

Torn. my first bike had Exage trail as a groupset and it wasn't terrible at all. 18 speeds, the gears shifted and you could take the biopace chainrings off. The brakes were a bit rubbish, but so were some after market canti's I can think of , and they cost £100+ to boot.

    You all ride rubbish bikes!

Just playing devil's advocate, but I'm assuming your Stumpy frame does not have an ISCG mount, a disc mount and is set up for 120mm travel forks - ergo it is not really comparable. To carry on, but it's frame geometry is pretty similar after fork correction, and the wheels are pretty similar...
