This is what I use on the front of my Giant and I find it totally confidence inspiring going down, a bit of a pain dragging them round though but worth it imx :)

I too ran 28 with no problem. In fact my rims came on a tcx and ths had 32 cross tyres on.

Thanks, i like it a lot and it's a nice ride with the modern forks and rear shock. I will try the pedals in the vice at work and thanks for the offer if i need them it is Shimano SPDs that i would need.
