Swapped from BT to plusnet and service from the peeps on the phone is spot on and no problem with the broadband, BT weren't happy when we left and tried to claim all sorts, which was just guff.

Unless the ecu is remapped the software can't go out of sync, sensors like the air flow sensor can drift which effect the running, but if it was using oil, then either a breather was off or there was wear within the engine.

For years I've run sram chains, but when I went 10spd the cassette was a bundle with a shimano chain, I want to take a couple more links out, so the question is can you use sram powerlinks with shimano chains?
