    Re: From what I gather, decals, badges and even equipment, was subject to availability. They could only fit what was in stock and needed to get bikes out of the door, so perhaps unwise to read too much into your decals and bands. I used to think that catalogue descriptions were like the Bible...

    Wanted Headset for 1948 bike

    Can any forum member help in sourcing a Headset for a high end 1948 Machine. Crown race is 26.4mm, insert races are 30.2mm and stack height of 35-38mm Gnutti, TDC, Brampton, etc are all fine . NOS would be fantastic, but happy to settle for good bearing surfaces and needing re-chroming Hope...
