Hi, yes this has nuovo record in white script along the top tube near the headset too. It was dated by cycling magazine as 70 but guess they could be wrong. I was trying to remember the year I bought it, it was before 82 definitely and the previous owner said it was about 10 yrs old? Anyways...

Without naming any names my local shop is pants.. not only do they have an attitude that makes you feel they arent bothered if they serve you or not but they charge a fortune for everything. Hi, i forgot to ask a question..the Holdsworth is a nuovo record.. i was told it was from about 1970? any experts out there? i think i paid about £100 for it.. seemed a lot in the mid 90's, no idea what they fetch now and dont see many of them on the road but its a really nice bike..

Fairly new to this.. Hi Ok here we go... i'm a bit of a newbie having rediscovered the joys (and dangers!) of cycling after a break of many years. Heres a couple of my bikes, both Kona's, bought at a good price (i hope?) of £160 for the two. I think they are both 94? Ive refurbed the Cinder...

Thanks mattbrown, looking at your 94 it looks a darker green to mine, or maybe its just the pic, but mines brighter, more 'emerald' - guess they never called it that though! I'll get some pics on here at the weekend, just waiting for some daylight!

Thanks, i will post some pics when i can, but the decals are identical to those on my cindercone above (obviously apart from the lavadome one!) and same equipment apart from lower spec shimano changers etc, seems pretty much same period? If it helps I think the seat post is 27 whereas cindercone...

It wasn't so bad. I spoke to the seller before I went and I was working nearby that week. He wasn't sure about the age etc so it was a bit of a gamble but I'm very pleased with it as its the actual year and colour I was after, and let's face for £100 its better than anything else you could find...
