Kona Ku Serial Number List - update 04/09/24

The model name looks like it's 3 letters long. Koa ? Highly doubtful as not nearly nice enough for a team frame.

Kona Hot Serial Number List - update 16/09/24

Its gotta be as simple as it qas redone a decade later or something. Heavily touched up paint. Whatever decals at hand snd modified for single speed. Here are the dropouts on my brodie. Some resemblance. It too is a mix of prestige tubing but I sont know if the dropouts were made by Brodie or...

Kona Hot Serial Number List - update 16/09/24

Certainly a weird mix I'll leave conclusions to others but I've never seen dropouts like that on a Kona. My brodie Sovereign has scalloped ones similar. Tom made frames for other bikes ? Or maybe it had new dropouts added. The decals are for sure not original as he was done making Hots long...

4.6 using the same kitchen scale. It's a size larger thought (19 vs 18)

1998 Kona Lava Dome Resto Mod Project (Caldera P11 Onwards)

Cool to see the weight! When I weighed that brodie Sovereign it was 4.00 LB which is crazy light for steel.

1996 Kona Hei Hei - The First King Kahuna

Lol. I don't disagree but she's a rider so I'm not going to fuss spending hundreds extra extra for the really small details. Lord knows I've spent enough on this bike already hah.
