What age is this Bianchi Mountain Bike?

Possibly. There’s a video on YouTube of a very similar frame where the guy converts it to a gravel bike with what looks like 700cc rims.

What age is this Bianchi Mountain Bike?

I really like the look of this Bianchi Mountain bike but I’m really struggling to find any information about it. I’m having a bit of a dilemma. I love my 1992 GT mountain bike but I’ve been recently using a borrowed modern 27.5” wheel mountain bike and I’m finding it much more comfortable and...

1992 GT Talera – Single Speed?

This is the same bike now in 2022. I’ve done up a couple of other bikes since I bought this, one being a much more modern GT Aggressor with disk brakes and suspension. But I’ve kept this and sold the newer ones on. I don’t really like the look of the Brooks saddle but is so comfy.

    Brian Rourke frame

Wow you certainly like the Rourke. I contacted Brian Rourke's shop and they reckon it's probably a 1997/98. I've started picking up some parts for it, decided to go Campagnolo. I'll probably make a few mistakes in what I buy but can always sell unwanted parts on. The more I look at the frame...

    Brian Rourke frame

Just bought this frame today. Plan to build it up over the next 6 months. The frame is in a bit poorer condition than I’d hoped, bits of chipped paint and rust spots. However there are no dents or damage. Will probably need painted. I reckon it’s 1995 to 2001 based upon the style of Reynolds 531...

    1992 Marin Bolinas Ridge

It's advertised as a 16" however looking into the model they seem to be 15.5" might be in the small size. however I only have a 30" inside leg.

    1992 Marin Bolinas Ridge

Spotted a Marin Bolinas Ridge for sale for £25. Not really needing another bike but at this money not a lot to lose. Is this bike worth the hassle or am I better buying a better bike. From my research the Bolinas Ridge was entry level but I'm struggling to tell the difference between the frames...

1992 GT Talera – Single Speed?

Re: First Run Took bike out for test run today and really pleased with it. Very smooth , gears changed well really enjoyed myself with it. Only thing not so happy with are the MKS pedals I put on they are fine until you take your foot off and they turn upside down. Any suggestions on a suitable...

1992 GT Talera – Single Speed?

I was interested in creating a single speed mountain bike from a vintage steel frame. After researching this site and others I knew what I wanted, a 1990’s steel frame with horizontal dropouts, get it stripped and powder coated in a single colour. Really liked the 1998 Orange GT Talera Single...
