    Dyna-Tech Sentinal £10

I think that's a warranty replacement. The rear stays are the ones they used on the titanium dynatech's not the earlier steel ones. I have seen one before where it had the earlier colour scheme but was a later frame. Either way it is a bargain.

Raleigh Dyna Tech appreciation and information thread

As it is a flat part (when laid on it's side) and not too thick I would go for getting it laser or waterjet cut. Then should be an easy job to drill it for the countersinking and through for the two mounting holes.

1994 original San Andreas - Prostop & Suspenders

That is very nice. I've just bought a San Andreas, effectively frame and forks and needing cleaning etc... That was £500. But yours looks in very good condition and has the very desirable brakes and forks. I'd think around the £1500 or maybe more. If I hadn't just bought a house I'd happily...

    Raleigh ex team dynatech

Wow! Seeing one ex-team bike in good condition is unusual let alone two. Lovely to see them having survived and looking very original. There is a dynatech group on facebook and there is going to be a first meet up near Nottingham in a couple of weeks time if that is of interest to you. Out...

    Check out my crack!

Definitely not shipping damage - two reasons, 1 I'm not sure that is possible by shipping!, 2 No impact or damage mark at either end of the crack. Agree with you that it is damage due to overtightening. Either not checked well enough or trying to pull a fast one.

Marinovative Cheap Trick brakes with canti levers?

You can run V brakes with standard levers so the same will go for the Marinovative. I never got on with V brakes using V brake levers so have only ever run them with cantilever brake levers. But you do need to run them closer to the rims and therefore your wheels need to be true.

Cannot seem to sell my late model manitou ht

Welded ones can sell for reasonable money. But agree on the paint finish and more importantly to me is that it is missing a front derailleur and a seatpost. Not easy or cheap to get those parts for a Manitou HT. I would be inclined to put it on ebay with the photos of when it was red as well...

Karma Specialized X23 Rim (slightly bent)

A Specialized X23 rim that is cluttering up the garage. Has a slight bend in, hopefully visible in the first photo. Free for anyone who can make use of it. Collection only from NG8 (Wollaton, Nottingham)

Machine VTG 90 Tech hubs, on 95/100 on Mavic Ceramic 117 S.U.P.

Very understandable! If you change your mind at all I've got a nice pair of Hope hubs on rims that are almost as nice that I could swap. Cheers Ed

Wanted Wheels XTR M900 hubs on BXC1 & BXC2 Rims

Sadly those ones have sold. A shame as they were quite close to me and exactly what I am looking for.

Wanted Wheels XTR M900 hubs on BXC1 & BXC2 Rims

I am looking for a pair of wheels, Shimano XTR M900 on BXC1 and BXC2 Bontranger rims. It's for a catalogue build so sadly only this combination will do. Thanks Ed

    Sold Raleigh USA Technium Chill

Time to reduce the collection. Raleigh USA Dynatech Technium Chill, not sure on size - measures 20" from BB to top tube. It's too small for and I'm 6' 2" so probably suited if you are more around 5' 10" or so. It has DX gear train. On the plus side the paintwork is in good condition and just...

    Raleigh USA Technium Obsession

There are quite a few out there. I've got one at home. They were made by Raleigh USA. Brought over to fill in a gap in the UK Raleigh range. Aluminium main tubes, also there was a model with carbon fibre tubes. They are a nice bike to ride and I remember Halfords having them in stock in the...

Raleigh Dyna Tech appreciation and information thread

Hello Volker, The number in the BB shell of mine is - C32240. The seat tube number is MM6070. Agree that the "C" is year of production. I don't think "32" is the frame size as mine is a lot larger than that. My theory - 32240 is the next number for any dynatech being built. The MM6070 is...

Is that the frame number on the sticker at the bottom of the seat tube or the one under the bottom bracket? My Decade has xxx070 on the sticker. I think that would make it the 70th MMC frame made. Yours being 003 must be one of the very first. Ed

    Onza SPD's

Really nice lightweight period pedals. I have them on all of my bikes. For the the time they were pretty much unique in having float. Mechanically they are very simple and it's easy to fix any issues. But it is very difficult to get cleats for them so probably best avoided.
