Yes, ITA is 70mm, while BSA/ISO 68 or later 73mm. Also the size of the shell is different, BSA bottom brackets using a 1.375” (34.92mm) diameter and ITA has a 36mm diameter shell. With that, it get's very likely that it should be an Italian Frame.

Actually, I have never noticed the the differences with regards to the cable slot, but the 3 generations as mentioned by @pete_mcc make a lot of sense to me. Let's add pictures to have a bit of documentation here in the forum: 1st gen 1994 with no cable slot and logos at the front, obviously...

just some additional information about Otero, their portfolio for 1991: I came across a number of buyer guides from early nineties from Spanish Bicisport magazine a while ago. Can't read Spanish, but Google lens or translate typically does the job to understand also the text. Very interesting...

Not sure, but at least the end of the freewheel body looks a bit similar at those sold 1994 from German company WECO.

there is a small mark at the side of the last page, the spec page, showing 1997 copyright, and I think this fits also to the ESP derailleur and Manitou forks used at those great bikes. Maybe you can change the name to 1997 then? The other catalog should be from 1995, same picture of the Rover...
