    Unkwown Frame, help needed !

Yes, ITA is 70mm, while BSA/ISO 68 or later 73mm. Also the size of the shell is different, BSA bottom brackets using a 1.375” (34.92mm) diameter and ITA has a 36mm diameter shell. With that, it get's very likely that it should be an Italian Frame.

Catalogue Wheeler catalogues, adverts, articles and chat.

and sure, the 8900 is by far the whole grail of a Wheeler bike! It was designed or even build by Kent Eriksen, that's also mentioned of the piece of the sticker at your bike above the BB. Mike Kluge was using this for selected races. Maybe you have bought back in time a frame set only, because...

    Unkwown Frame, help needed !

definitively a very nice one 👍 no eyelets for racks and fenders, to me allays a good indication that it's not just a mid range versatile bike, hard to have a proof point, but to me the fork, lugs in general and also the bridge between the seat stays look Italian... Is that a BSA bottom bracket...

    Sold Blue Tech Lite levers

Actually, I have never noticed the the differences with regards to the cable slot, but the 3 generations as mentioned by @pete_mcc make a lot of sense to me. Let's add pictures to have a bit of documentation here in the forum: 1st gen 1994 with no cable slot and logos at the front, obviously...

Same problem here, I made a number of attempts to order or contact them, after successful deals in the past, but no response at all. But just realized that since last week there is a new banner on their homepage MOVE, NO ORDER BEFORE 11/09 Not sure how to read it, hopefully not in the american...

nice bike, maybe also show it there https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/show-us-your-700c-atb-mtb-hybrid.459355/ I know Kinetik was sold here in Germany Had those bikes been offered also somewhere else, or only from FSR in Braunschweig? BTW: here is a picture of the Albatross from the buyers...

    meanwhile, in Madrid....

just some additional information about Otero, their portfolio for 1991: I came across a number of buyer guides from early nineties from Spanish Bicisport magazine a while ago. Can't read Spanish, but Google lens or translate typically does the job to understand also the text. Very interesting...

    Mystery and Unidentified Parts

Not sure, but at least the end of the freewheel body looks a bit similar at those sold 1994 from German company WECO.

    Catalogue 1997 3D Racing Catalogue

there is a small mark at the side of the last page, the spec page, showing 1997 copyright, and I think this fits also to the ESP derailleur and Manitou forks used at those great bikes. Maybe you can change the name to 1997 then? The other catalog should be from 1995, same picture of the Rover...

Early 2000s Jamis Coda with a "polished" finish. Is it really just polished bare steel?

just wanted to second that this Coda is nickel plated. Quite a few CroMo Bikes had that finish Mid 90ties Scott, Marin, ParPre, Diamond Back others, but a lot have similar corrosion at the bottom braket like shown on the picture. Hard if not impossible to fix, because nowadays you don't find...

Help with identifying this 26" steel frame

or not yet double butted... From the pictures I would have expected something pretty good quality. Maybe the frame number indicates than already a 1990 production year? Most nickel plated frames which come to my mind are a few years younger, and early nineties weight reduction was a big thing
