Cream would look good, but these are a classic colour scheme for me (and they were NOS so a shame to respray). I believe they are faster than the yellow SL model - I know some believe the higher spec of the SL makes them superior, but this paint job is definitely faster…

Thanks chaps, P2 are classic, and I’ve got them on my for sale 92 cinder cone (shameless plug) but for teen me it was the exciting new fangled bouncy forks. Do fancy an earlier one next to keep it company which likely to be a P2. I’m becoming more fond of the cream/beige saddle each time I look...

It's an off the shelf colour from the car industry I think, which was the best match they could find to the original paint. It's a pearl effect hence the sparklyness :D

Here you go @enc I missed the best of the sun, so will have another go at some with specs etc when seat and hopefully seatpost swapped, but if you zoom in on the non drive side in particular you can see the colour coming through

I think it was Marin/Kona/GT and maybe Cannondale originally then Specialized came in and some of the others were dropped, definitely Kona as had to source my next one elsewhere. Most importantly thought, does Stu still have his Escort Cossie?

Guessing the one down Grimsby Road? If so great shop but a bit far for me to pedal, I went from Woods (Muddy Fox) to Offshore (Kona) for my drooling!

Thank you! I did toy with a full length liner, but the exposed inner and donuts style won me over, plus the instructions had it this way. It will probably be shielded from the worst weather as have modern machinery for that so hopefully this works out.
