    Fat Chance Kickstarter

Does make the Deluxe Redux seem a lot cooler in retrospect.

    Fat Chance Kickstarter

Re: Ooof. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my vintage Fats, but I am so so so glad I didn't throw money away on this. Hopefully they get everything sorted out design-wise before production starts up. That said, even the builds are lame! And having a slim rigid fork on that Coke can head tube is silly -- for an...

Bike of The Year 2014 - VOTE NOW!!!!!!

What a nice this was! I really love the Mantis and the Berthoud and the OG and the Yeti. But I LOVE the transfomation of the Potts (great rebuild thread). I wish it were my size, um, for fantasizing purposes. Dang, I had to go Ibis. Gotta vote a for a bike I could actually see myself riding.

    1990 Yo Eddy Questions...

I wouldn't think the loop is for a Hite-Rite, but rather to keep the seat clamp from rotating -- it isn't a separate loop like an old Salsa, but a piece the seat bolt passes through, right? I'd also run a pulley. Let's see some pics!

    1988 Yeti FRO

Re: Re: Taperlite's are a little older, but if it is an '88 you can check the parts timeline on MOMBAT. I think Hyperlites were '90. For riding, no worries---and they look great too. I only mention it since some things seemed period and others (bars, tires) didn't.

    "Breezer #2"

Neat stuff! Why not #6?....or #7? Does your bike have the serial # on the BB shell? http://mombat.org/BalloonerIISpec1.jpg

    1988 Fisher Mt Tam

Super cool--the camo idea is great as is drop bar'ing it. I really miss my Mt Tam. Great riding bikes and under valued, RIP to TET. I didn't click through to the other build blog to see if you mentioned it, but how was the process with Clockwork for the stem? I've been curious about them.
