when you say a 24" ritchey, doesn't that usually refer to frame size? this is an 18" ritchey with 24" wheels. :cool: was the lady in original condition? :)

swap meet is this sunday. 2 days away. forecast is for rain. damn!!! don't let that stop you from showing up though. it has rained on us many a time. some of our best events have been wet. see ya there.

had this out for maiden voyage last night. it performed as it should. was a comfortable ride position. if the tire is on wrong it was probably because i put both decals visible from the drive side. thanks for letting me know.

hi adrian we sort of thought the same thing. three early spots all together. the one in the middle is the 2nd frame built. was the bike of the founder of spot mike golinski.

we got out for a spot ride yesterday. and some spot chat over beers. sounds like it might have been moe pardham of rocky mountain fame might have been the welder of these frames. bike rode very nice for the route we do. i think it will pretty much stay as is. many thanks to BC for the pictures.

i heard from a buddy that someone we know is cycling from just outside edmonton to our swap meet. that is close to 1200km. he regularly attends but drives.

hi all one of the first signs that summer is coming to an end. the fall swap meet is almost upon us. i have my want/need list going. do you? hopefully find bits and pieces to complete a build or two. who knows what treasure might show up this time. even if you don't need anything come down...

he is a very busy artist. several of us on the west coast of canada have had many dealings with him. he can be trusted completely. hang in there. he is a good guy.

this might be a brand a few haven't heard of before. not up to speed on the history myself. started in vancouver in mid 90's is my understanding. i had the opportunity to purchase the owner/founder of spot's bike way back when when he was moving to portland to try and resurrect the off road...
