    The anti Klein brigade.

The bike you could buy with Klein money these days, too... Honestly though, I'm really happy for anyone that has a bike they love That's all that really matters. Loving a bike. Riding a bike. (If you don't ride it we're not the same person, and that's OK too. I just won't ever respect you...

    The anti Klein brigade.

No, it's ******* not. And that's such a classic Klein-lover thing to say. It's not envy. Or not always. Some people just think they look ill-proportioned and shit. Other people ride actual bikes and know they ride like unforgiving ass most of the time, too. All good tho. Sometimes nice...

BoTM Bike of The Month December 2023 - now taking entries

I love when the first bike entered immediately means I can rule myself out of the temptation to enter something myself! Stunning stuff.

BoTM BoTM November 2023 - Rider Special - time to vote

I voted. Even though I voted for a bike I feel like probably doesn't actually get ridden THAT much...

    Boulder Defiant Titanium

Yeah, you guys are so judgmental... ;) This is a masterpiece of the run-what-you-brung variety! And looks like someone got themselves a playful bargain to play with...

Took almost 3 decades but I finally got my hands on one of these....Brodie Sovereign with Gatorblade fork

If I had to keep only one vintage MTB it would be my Sov. It just rides superbly. Fully modern-feeling in geometry, with a nice long headtube and sloping TT, I feel planted inside the bike thanks to the long wheelbase. The Gartorblade tracks better and rides more smoothly than any other...

    1988 Fat Chance Wicked

But the wrong choice repainting it in the first place! ;) (Sorry, I'm just a sucker for keeping paint, regardless of condition. I like battle scars and stories!)

    1991 Bradbury Manitou FS

Martin, that's an absolute masterpiece. Once again! Congrats. And I can't believe I'm attempting to correct one of the masters of this shit, but.. Surely those are super early Paul QR's front and rear, rather than Ringle? Which makes them even cooler, in my book. Not sure I've seen them...

    bring out your bontrager?

A non-period, idiosyncratic CX build for daily Southern California riding! An ex-racer’s ex-race whip. Came to me with a stretched rear (135) and crimped stays to accommodate a road crank and 700/42s front and rear. Suntour XC Pro/Dura Ace 7700/XTR M952 mashup 2x drivetrain stolen from the...

BoTM Bike of the month October 2023 - now taking entries

Does it really matter if you can't enter your re-worked bike because you've already entered it twice if you have no chance in hell of even winning anyway, because @synlos has already entered his flawless '89 Blizzard on page 1? Asking for a friend, Etc.

    1991 Merlin Elevator rebuild

Great work! And yeah, WD-40 for the win. I use it to finish all my titanium bits and pieces. And a bunch of other stuff too! It's actually better as a cleaning product than anything else.

Old Skool Adverts--- Got a Favorite, Post it.

Funny, this one is famous for the ad copy they messed up. It was supposed to read: "You're born. You ride a few bikes. You train to become a dentist. You become a dentist. You buy a Klein. You go to heaven. Then you die."
