Hi, wondered if anybody might have any info on Regina road bikes from 1960’s/70’s? Doesn’t seem to be a lot of info on google. Just trying to find out the history of this bike: where/when was built, was it any good etc. Rides nice now anyway 👍 Photo is mine with some newer parts added.

Hi, I’m rebuilding this Rixon frame and just realised that the stem cap is missing as I think the bike shop lost it when they changed the stem ages ago. Do I need to just get a new stem and cap or is it possible to get just the cap? Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Ah yes then I may have slightly (massively) over tightened it then!

Hi, I unscrewed and removed the stem cap on my Specialized yesterday, took the stem off then put stem back on and screwed the cap back on but now there is play/wobble in the front forks. I've loosened and tightened the stem cap again and now the front forks are completely stiff and hardly turn...

Thanks the only thing is that I think these Mavics are from a few years ago. Anything up to about 20 years ago tbh. I don’t know as I bought them on a bike on eBay and now hoping to fit them onto another bike which has the 32 tyres and yes plenty of clearance for more than that so the main thing...

Thanks for the info 👍 I’ve decided to put the original parts back on the old German bike and sell it on eBay etc and also sell the frame only if the newer bike and I’ll keep the parts off it to put on a frame in future.
