Thanks ishaw. That was on my watch list as I really want them but just bought a set of old toras off someone local for £50 literally 30 minutes ago. Not exactly what I wanted but at least it means I can get the trance built so I can use it. Will try to upgrade later on when I can afford it...

Cheers ishaw but my marin was a full suspension 29er with tapered forks so there's no way I could afford to get forks for that as well. I've just agreed to sell all of the parts from it dirt cheap just to rebuild the trance so going to take me a while to save up for a replacement bike...

oh ok. Everywhere I've looked they say a 1.5" lower headset won't fit into my frame because the headtube is too small. Will have to investigate as I can get tapered forks easily

Not sure if they'll fit as it's only a 1 1/8 headset (it's 2007 so old) and wouldn't be able to fit a 1.5" on the bottom.
