Yes, I picked up an old battered Surly Straggler frame and am currently knocking it into shape. Unfortunately a size too small for me at 56 rather than the 58 I need but just doing it for the fun and to see what these Surly things are about. I have to say they are a bit different.

Thanks for your comments re position and set up. Note that the saddle originally was one of those weird noseless jobs so it will look strange, it has been replaced. I am changing the shifter position this week, although wifey does not tend to ride down on the drops they do look high to me but...

So would you say Chorus is the Ultegra equivalent in Campag?

Just picked up a Cadex 980c in what looks like very nice condition considering it has be standing outside for a while...long enough for the tyres to be completely flat! It has a full Campag groupset and wheels but while Shimano is easy, I cannot recognise Campag models. Can anyone help?
