Two chains on connex quick links. Take off when dirty, put the clean one on. Chuck the dirty one in white spirt, ultrasonic clean, paraffin wax dip. Check with vernier every now and then. Cleanest running transmission I have ever had 8) No good if your traveling though ... :lol: For that...

Leave them pumped up to max pressure for as long as possible before riding - it really compresses the tape and closes all the edges, the tape almost kind of beds down and it changes to look like a bead of glue around the edge rather than a strip of tape :D WD :D

I can't answer for all tubs, but my challenge and michelins are hand made - in my limited experience, Michelin have better hands than challenge and there tyres run truer when mounted :D (not that the challenge caused me a problem). WD :D
