Caroline Alexander’s Klein “Pulse” - Attitude by a different name? Racing History, no less.

Looks good them graftons make it as well did you have any issues with the girvin forks fitting I was going to put a set on my Klein mantra will they work do you think
They’re 1” in a frame which has a 1 1/8” head tube so I’m having to use steerer shims. Is a pain to find a good shim to be honest. If I could just run a different fork I would.

Hi all,

We’ve made a little more progress in the way of wheels. Picked them up today and I must say that I like them. Not much wear to the rims and the hubs are in very good condition. All in all, success.

The elusive front brake cable stop was lost coming from the US but a member on here stepped in and sorted me out as he has the same fork but runs linear brakes. That too came from the US but part of a bigger box of stuff so UPS had my back.

More to come as the news breaks.

It’s looking decent!

Love this build. Going to be so good when done!

Only issue I have is Caroline’s bike had mark 1 and 2 Vector forks with the integrated stem rather than the mark 3s with the steerer clamp. She started off with the steel stem mark ones, then moved on to the alloy stem mark 2s. She certainly used the mark 3 and the later carbon ones, just not on this bike

The joy with the mark ones is that it brings the bars down a good inch or two and you don’t have a huge amount of steerer showing above the head tube. The downside is finding the buggers.
