They are the plugs that come with new Shimano hydraulic disc brake calipers and when the caliper gets installed they get chucked in a drawer never to be used again.

I’ve never seen a Velocity stem for a road bike and a negative rise. Sounds cool.

I’m struggling to picture a quill stem that needs two bolts on the same side of a clamp, can you post an example photo of what you’re looking for?

Cool. I have a Mick Gray I ride more than any other bike. It’s quite different from this as it’s a mix of Columbus Zona and Reynolds 653, modern geometry and fillet brazed. If this one is as beautifully made and finished as mine then it’ll be a great bike. I’d never seen another until today.
