    Wanted Raleigh Tomac

I sure hope you got the ex-TPC bike that came up for sale recently. And why not a complete bike but it needs to be usable?

Raleigh John Tomac Signature - Carbon/Ti

I don’t know anything about stuff being bought that isn’t mine. And I was saying my auction was too restricted and needed to open it up internationally. But uh…go ahead and keep all your NOS Tioga stuff I guess.

Raleigh John Tomac Signature - Carbon/Ti

Sorry fellas. Had a lot of international interest that were unable to bid with how I had the auction set up. And some out of pocket time for myself where I won’t be able to field questions or pack/ship quickly. Pulled it for now.

Raleigh John Tomac Signature - Carbon/Ti

Man, haven’t logged on here in years! Happy to answer questions if ya got ‘em. No it’s not welded crooked. Camera angle isn’t dead 100% perfect. This thing is legit and a true cream puff. I bought it from the original owner who ran a shop back in the day, but he was primarily a roadie...

would i be mad to sell

Very few (if any) Cannondales are truly 'rare'. I'd start there. I've seen enough SBikes, so I'm not convinced they're deeply rare. The Rourke looks pretty cool. Not familiar with them as the only Rourke we have here is Mickey. If there isn't a monetary reason for selling them, have you...

    Shipping frame from USA ££££££!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Re: Oooh. My bad. The frame I sent was a large Boulder with the seat tube measuring 21" center to top. So yes, you (should) be able to get it to fit within limits.

    Shipping frame from USA ££££££!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Re: The Litespeed built frames came in either 17.5" or 19". Aprox 60 were made in total. This is a Merlin built frame and all 14 frames were 19". Is yours full ti? I think those came in a 21"+ size.

    Shipping frame from USA ££££££!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Re: You're in luck, this one didn't come from the UK! Are you thinking of the Atkin's bike?

    Shipping frame from USA ££££££!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Re: Agreed, their explanation isn't great. You're essentially measuring the length, then wrapping the measuring tape around the box to get the second measurement they use. Your dimensions seem like it's maybe a full bike box? Best you can do via USPS is a frame. Full bikes will need a...

    Raleigh cataloges

Interesting that that 91/92/93 catalogs contained zero Tomac branded stuff. Maybe the difference between Raleigh and Raleigh USA?

    Shipping frame from USA ££££££!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cheapest means to ship from the USA will be USPS and yes, the box will have to be smaller than 108" length + girth. I recently shipped a large frame from California, USA to Germany for about $85 USD. So the box was 36" long (length), 26" highx2 + 8" widex2 (girth). 36"+26"+26"+8"+8" =...

    American Breezer 1987 #0003

Ya, you put an amazing amount of time and effort into the bike for this thread to go quiet so quickly. I restored an 87 myself, but nowhere near the amount of attention you gave yours. I hope you like the way it rides more than I did mine! Your choice of build spec and 'upgrades' are spot on...

    American Breezer 1987 #0003

Amazing restoration on that Breezer! Funny that you are running American Classic quick releases on it. I was talking with Joe Breeze a few years back while on a vintage group ride and the subject of those quick releases came up (I was running one on my Phoenix). He said it was a poor design...
