I have an 89 Apex. The paint job is lovely but unfortunately it just doesn’t have the tire clearance of the 90 models, I have a 90 ascent but I don’t think that frame is even butted. It weighs a ton. @gtturbo did you get round to checking what size your apex was?

Thanks for getting back to me but that confirms it, it’s a 90 I’m looking for. The 91s seem to have a slightly sloping top tube and no mid fork mounts for a rack.

Looking for quite a specific year, not sure if it's 90 or 91 because I cant find the 90 catalogue. I think the final or only one with 1 1/8 inch head tube and a straight top tube. 19 inch size. Based in London, happy to pay postage.
