    That´s not right. In 1991 and 1992 the seat post diameter was already 27.2 mm.

    I'm really looking forward to your build. I also had the opportunity to build up a Litespeed few years ago. It would have to be a 1990 frame as it came with a straight titanium fork as advertised. Unfortunately the fork had cracks and I could no longer use it. I opted for a classic XT setup...

    Congratulations for the catch and have fun with the build. I would refurbish the fork and reinstall it.
