Superb, looks really fresh, even got the card on the rear mech still!

Those Altus groupsets didn’t come out until 1993, so the bike is a 93 on wards model.

Yes, they were originally 80mm travel. We sold hundreds of these at one point!

What size is it?

1994 RC35 by the looks of it. They would be perfect.

Could it be a Noleen shock? Colour of the body is very similar to the rear shock on a G.T. RTS.

This is exactly the issue, you need to add a spacer behind the cassette if you are using the blind sprocket..

You will need a Euro bottom bracket, and a Profile Mtb axle, the standard length bmx axle will be to short, you won’t have enough clearance between the crank arms and the stays. Your franks look like the regular 19mm axle version, not the SS 22mm version.

Just built this Pace hub into a wheel this morning. It’s still like new, as are my other Pace hubs!

I use Ayre Velo, they have an EBay store and a Website. Bearings are really good quality, and delivery is usually next day. I have had their 30 mm bottom bracket bearings far outlast anything else.
