I appreciate the interest but I’m not stripping it to sell just the frame.
If dandy1 wanted to buy the bike just for the frame to swap his parts to, I have no objection.
I’m not desperate to sell it, it can go back in the attic or be loaned to my brother.
Postage being expensive for a bike...
Time to sell this. I’d rather the buyer collect. I’ve had it for about 4 years, I got it as a frame from Adrian. I didn’t pay much for the frame but the parts are worth more than I’m asking.
The rear triangle wasn’t aligned when I got it, so when it was being straightened, I also set it to 135...
I’m at around 50 bikes since I joined retrobike in 2009. I still have 10 keepers and 4 to sell. All were bought to keep, except for a couple for my family. I have pics of most but some may be frame only. The below are the departed:
1977 Carlton Professional Track - WB7002333
1989 Roberts White...
Pretty sure they’re gen 1 canti levers as they don’t have the cable slot to make it easier to remove.
I’ve had them a few years but only briefly used them. They’re in good condition, just a little damage to the logo on the right lever.
£110 posted in the UK. I’m happy to post abroad.
Time to sell these since I don’t have the bike they were on anymore, and I don’t need another. I’ve had them for several years, think I paid €450 for them from Erik in Norway. The Scott pads are worn and the holders are corroded but the brakes themselves are still in good condition. £325 posted...
Can you put a picture up?
I struggled on my Spooky but got these to work. It’s a 3d printed steel adapter with flat mount Growtac caliper. No other cable calipers would fit in the small space because the seatstay interfered with the cable actuator.
