There was a yellow/silver Technium Heat model, either 90 or 91, I'll try and dig out the catlogue. It's possible it was a warranty return that was painted in a diferent colour or a Heat model with chill decals fitted? Raleigh UK did change colour schemes for certain models mid year so possible...
It was a high strength epoxy adhesive, couldn't tell you any details of the specific product though. There might be more info in the catalogues in the archive.
There are no bonded joints on that frame, it's lugged and brazed steel (K2 tubeset). The dynatech frames had a mix of steel/aluminium/titanium that couldn't be welded or brazed together, hence the bonding. This is not one of them though.
Yes, still got this just not made any progress since I last posted. Need to rescue a chainset off another bike for this build but it's currently buried in the garage and been too busy to get to it or any other bike builds for some time. Post a pic of yours, it may inspire me to get my finger out...

I've managed to pick up another rear Centaur hub so less concerned with cutting the axle down now that I have a spare. Was hoping that someone else with a Zinn frame could measure what spacing their frame is though to confirm these were supplied as 130mm spacing, before I went spreading the...
Not much retro building been going on for a while with me but still keep an eye out for bits for builds when I eventually get back to them. Finally managed to aquire an original Stalk and matching bar for this one. Next will be sorting out the decals then can see about getting the re-spray...
I have Zinn Z-centaur frame which measures 131mm between the rear dropouts, were these supplied as 130mm or 135mm spacing?
I have a 135mm centaur hub which I can fit with a bit of effort but it's not as easy as it should be. Options are to remove a 5mm spacer from the hub and shorten the axle...
