Anyone know how this freewheel comes off?

When I was younger and wore out a uniglide cassette I took it apart and used the spacers with hyperglide cogs. Used a file or drill press to knock down the wide spacer on the cogs and reused the threaded cog.

I got "lucky" and was able to find the weird bearing for my cook bros BB (5/8 bore on a 6002 bearing) so will not have to do major extraction work to replace the BB. I was scared that my lack of maintenance had destroyed my frame. Unfortunately, means I can't get it painted.

BoTY Bike of The Year 2024 - The vote

In my mind its just a matter of which "brodie" should win.

Wanted DeKerf Tuning Fork - top dollar ready

I feel like between pricing and quoted wait times, that he is really filtering who he wants to sell to, or maybe his batch business is doing so well that he really does not have time for one off projects.

Wanted DeKerf Tuning Fork - top dollar ready

Love mine, was it worth the $$$ and wait and would I do it again, likely not. Good luck finding a used one.

I seem to remember there being a difference in price that was large enough that I got a climbmax instead of a catalyst. So my choice was mostly $$$.

    Custom head badges

I know they are not UK based, but depending on what you want and your budget, try velocolour in Toronto. https://www.velocolour.com/headbadgeinfo I'd also suggest trying a local small scale jeweler, they may be up for the task.

Wanted 11/8th suspension forks threadless with long steerer tube 220 min

I've got a Marzocchi MX Pro ETA , came off a 21 inch dekerf, so plenty of steerer. Shipping might be a bit as its in Canada. If interested, let me know and I can get pics etc.

BoTM Bike of The Month May 2024 "Canadian Special". Time to vote

I've narrowed it down to 2, both are either slightly older or slightly younger siblings to bikes I own. Having to be really picky, which disqualified the bike I thought I'd vote for, but maybe I'll change my mind before I hit send.

BoTM Bike of The Month May 2024 "Canadian Special" - now taking entries

This is going to be a hard one, I usually vote for brands I own and models I own, in this month both are covered. The Venn diagram of make, model, year I have experience with covers all but 3 entries (rek tek and ORT) I know the few I won't be voting for, but choosing the one I will, is going...

BoTM Bike of The Month May 2024 "Canadian Special" - now taking entries

I'll add Balfa to the list for boutique and procycle/look to list for commercially available but not really interesting back in the day.

BoTM Bike of The Month May 2024 "Canadian Special" - now taking entries

Cameron Edwin Porter Tamarack Gardin Marinoni Best Hopefully someone has at least one to share. With all the great bikes, I'll leave my rider quality brodie on the shelf.

    Removing indentations from leather

List it as new - shop worn, showing pics of the indentations. I've tried shoe polish on saddles,, ends up grippy and staining your shorts

BoTM Bike of The Month May 2024 "Canadian Special" - now taking entries

Wish I hadn't done my dekerf in the original owners month, just leaves me to decide if my beat up, rider quality brodie that I've owned since new in 1990 or so is worthy this month or do I wait for another month.

    All things Canadian.....

See that best brings back lots of fun time building trails in the Don with Jim in the early 2000's. Last I spoke to him in about 2009 he was coming down with something and then we lost touch as my life changed. I also remember him building really bright (for the time) headlights.
