There's some sachs grips on the bay right now, like the grey above but in black.... Strong money for some old grips. I'm pondering the same for a build I'm planning, love the sachs ones but not at that price...

Have you tried them 'on the bike'? IIRC they use the spring tension of the front mech to balance the spring in the shifter, or am I just half asleep.

Put a carrier bag over the saddle for added sh***er appeal! I used to take my bike into the bank (anyone remember those?). Natwest in Taunton was upstairs in the good old days, used to get some funny looks that's for sure.
