I will get riding her quickly via the 7 speed wheelset but suspect I will eventually give the full campy xenon groupset a go on the bike just to try it. I have never ridden a Campy bike before so am intrigued lol
It looks like the frames are very similar but your seat tube/seat stay set up is way nicer than mine!
Raleigh paint of this era is bullet proof quality in my experience.

I have a 21" Pioneer with 501 tubing as my current station bike.
I will have a look in the morning light to see how similar the UkK market frame is to yours.
That is likely to be my first attempt as ideally I would like to keep it original (apart from new rims) so would be the quickest work around whilst I get the wheels sorted. I will also test my flexibility to be able use downtube shifters lol
It has nine speed on it currently. All three appear to have an OLD of 130mm at the back so the Shimano 7 speed should work too?
Having said that my current favourite option is the Campagnolo Xenon!
I picked this up last week and really want to ride it, but the rims are worn and I am no light weight so I don't want to risk it.
I will put a turbo trainer tyre on the back and do some indoor training in the meantime. I may eventually get new rims laced onto the hubs which are nice DT swiss...
When I saw the listing I thought it had been faded by the sun, but it turns out it is the original paint effect/scheme. Its looks great in real life!
