Is there any provenance supporting that it is a co-factory frame as from what you’ve said in the listing is that the modifications were done in someone’s shed / workshop as opposed to by the Sunn factory

Thank you for the information. That’s a shame that the frame has been messed with, is not in its original form, has been repainted and isn’t a co-factory frame.

@Jben lovely bike, but has the frame been repaired / re-welded as I am struggling to find a matching model or team bike with this extra part welded within the frame?

I believe the blue versions were towards the end of the Super V 4000 DH to mirror the Volvo Cannondale team bikes switching from red to blue.

They’re really nice and were only available for 1 year. I remember seeing them in the Caratti catalog and always wanted the blue one, but couldn’t find them for sale anywhere. I sourced these ones from Germany & France.
