Similar on older chunky carbon frames...

I bought the one in this picture (recently back from a BB frame repair) but I'm going to try using a conical headset spacer to try and blend it in.

Yeah a conical spacer would sort that right out. At least it looks good round the crown. I also excuse this as I've become a bit of a carbon fetishist in hiding.
