1997 Rocky Mountain Hammer Race

Thanks for catalogue but unfortunately I cant read it as the resolution is low and when I expand to read everything blurs

I don't think it's the original casette so not much help I'm afraid.

The catalogue needs downloading to be able to see it properly but doesn't actually give cassette spec.

I'm sure somebody on here would know exact spec.

I’d expect it’s an XT M739 8 speed cassette, personally I’d just look to find a nice 8 speed shimano HG casette in new condition if not new and use a new KMC HG compatible 8 speed (or shimano) chain with it.
That’s what I’m doing on my latest RM Blizzard build.

I'd assume it was LX level ,give the rest of the groupset being mostly LX (and hubs) it's an area to make a bit cheaper.
People will only look at that XT rear mech.
The jump from a HG70(i) to a spidered M737 is a big jump.

Nice build. I had one of those in the mid 2000's - built it up as my snow bike with a rigid fork. Ended up selling it as I didn't love it.
