Can anyone tell me anything about this frame?

I bought this a few weeks ago. Lovely looking frame and what appear to be Pace forks. Badged as a Koga. I know little about Koga bikes. No obvious serial number.

Seller only knew that her partner at the time had bought it on a trip to Colorado in the early 90s.

It’s pretty light for a steel frame.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Cheers

Because it is not a frame manufactured or sold by Koga. The early 80s style decals can be bought on eBay.

Looks like it could be a Rocky Mountain, but the rear brake cable stop doesn't look right for the one I'm thinking of.

Absolutely adore the paint! I was surprised by the Tange sticker though. I was under the impression that Koga Miyata only used tubes they made themselves. Something doesn't add up here.

Would the slightly curved/dropped chain stays provide any clues?

In 70s and early 80s Koga did use tubing supplied by Tange. Champion in green is Champion #2. Champion in red is Champion #1.
