Anyone have info on a early Ellis Champion?

Dirt Disciple
Just got this today. It seems to be in great condition for it's age and very light. Can anyone tell me about them? I have searched the internet and found VERY little. By the looks I would say 30's It does have a grease fitting on the BB. As far as a serial number, all I can find is 9218 on the left side of the seat lug with the letters AJ directly under them and a 5 under the BB.

Anyone have info on this one or someplace on the web to look?

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Not much about them other than a small word on Hilary Stone's website:

Ellis Champion was a very old established frame builder from Fulham – his catalogues claimed they had been frame builders since 1897 and Percy Ellis finally packed up in the early 1960s.

I think it is the same frame but I did not get it from Hillary Stone. The pictures show a odd shaped paint chip on the upper head lug. Mine has the exact shaped one but it has been touched up. And a few others.
