Zullo Vergine

cc17

Retro Guru
Columbus XCR Stainless steel built by master craftsman Tiziano Zullo who started making frames from his workshop on the banks of Italy's Lake Garda. His frames would go on to be used most famously by the TVM team, starring Phil Anderson and Robert Millar, for six seasons between 1986 and 1992. The bike has a unique paint job that was hand painted in Italy based on a Sicilian scene. The ride quality of the steel is simply superb providing a combination of comfort and stiffness. The components are all top of the range and the complete bike weighs only 16.4 lbs.
The bike is a 57 with a longer head tube to ease pressure on the back and provide a slightly more upright position. A review highlighting the outstanding qualities of the frame is below
