Another gutted member in awe of your purchase. I'm still on the hunt for another. I brought my original 753 frame, fork and stem from Zinn in 1994. The company was based just outside West Bromwich on the outskirts of Birmingham. At the time the company had just changed hands. Originally I brought a red 531 frame that was built by the new owners, but the rear triangle was not aligned correctly so I took it back and swapped it for a 753 frame in Grey from stock that was built by the previous owners.
Somwhere I still have a BeenBag Zinn Jersey and shorts.

The frames were powder coated, decals added then lacquered over if I remember correctly..hence why they seem to stand the test of time so well.

Correct. Stupid fingers mis-typed. Indeed, should be 'Centaur' not 'Cantaur'...

Sally Hibberd and Jo Burt had a white one with Mint Sauce style flowers hand painted on and white porc's.

It was Isla Roundtree that used to ride for Zinn, and she now does the Islabikes kiddies bikes, before which she did Islabikes custom frame building for ladies - mostly cyclocross I think which is still her passion.
