My all time fave has to be the 1991 Avalanche Team

That was my first mountain bike. Stolen from my parents' driveway in '94.

For me though, this is everything a bike should be:

orange aluminium "O" the same as my first real mountain bike used to ride it every where. but it must have been cursed. i had it stolen TWICE in two months. got it back the second time and sold it as i had just bought anothe orange clockwork this time. the lad who bought it from me had it stolen, never seen again this time

The two Trek 9900 Pro Issue Nude OCLV's I had in 1995 where the best riding hardtails I ever had, but breaking two in 6 months rules them out.

The bike that replaced them is still on the go and therefore here it is...

No amount of exotica and pimpery can match the history me and this bike have together

It would be a shame to put such a nice new GROOVY stem on something plastic, wouldn't it
Just ask Rody to build you a steel copy of a Trimble (GROVE X-frame like....would be way better :roll: )
