I'm lazy, so if I post this ad up I'll HAVE TO dig out the camera, dig out the frame from the bomb shelter and clean things.
PRICE: £500 for frame and fork
DETAILS: The frame is early 90s 26" center to center...HUGE. It takes 700c wheels with a maximum clearance for only 25mm tyres...a proper tight, old skool steel racer. Main tubes 853 Pro Team tubing, rear end formerly carbon but rebuilt in 853 tubes ( £200 receipt available ). Powder coated in light blue, 27.0 seat tube, english-threaded BB. Brand new M Part Pro one inch cartridge aheadset in silver. Carbon fibre fork, new and unused, one inch 350mm aluminium steerer tube.
I'm not posting it.
If you buy it you try it for a month to see if you like it and return it FOR NO REASON AT ALL if you don't like it.
I love it but now I'm smitten with my Cannondale CAD2 ( 1996 ) and feel foolish leaving it to languish in the bomb shelter with the vast George Longstaff frame.
I've loads of spares ( i run the Bristol Bike Jumble ) so I can fit it with wheels and whatever drivetrain you like.
