Speedo reading the day I sold my taxi.


Original engine/ turbo, gearbox. Only time I couldnt drive home was when a drive shaft popped.

The car is now truley shagged but will be back on the road next week with the new owner and a garage full of new parts.

fords always have been good reliable honest cars,maybe not always the best looking but with proper tlc theyll last for ages but im bias and ive got a geniune 24k mk1 xr2

my first ford was great, my second was the one that made most mechanics wince and huddle together in a corner and cry, cost me 2 grand in 2 years just to keep it on the road let alone general servicing! j plate escort bought from my cousin and she had done 42000 in 6 years from new, everything that could go wrong did!!

my favourite car was my audi 80quid! bought it for 80 quid was on the road and mot'd for 160 including buy price and lasted me 3 years and i sold it for 530 on ebay and only ever put on a exhaust and fuel pump!

Thats generally what I think of Ford, never been a fan
They aren't as popular as they used to be though, every other car on the road used to be a Ford and the Autotrader used to be 60% Ford lol
