Yeti ultimate causing Feeding frenzy on ebay

A feeding frenzy is occurring on ebay today .....a yeti ultimate is the cause .....gone from 99p to over £600 in 7 hrs and still 9 1\2 days remaining . Am I missing something ?? Is it made of gold or am I wrong in thinking it's a rarity and worth every penny ??
Man I wish I was that seller if it continues at this rate , will you be a witness to a £10000 retro ride the power of I like I want ,I need , I,m going for it well I have bid but think it may be to rich for my shallow pockets ATM ..

Am I wrong in thinking it's not super rare and maybe being inflated by people thinking that a yeti of that age is super valuable ....I looked on the us ebay and I,ve seen some selling for around $700 around or £400 ...hence why I call it this way 4 a frenzy .....to bid have an ebay account and be able to froth at the mouth when required :facepalm:

Actually I think this is a bloody cheap bike as it goes.

Its in its Original Powdercoat, it has original decals, and fork, you don't have to hunt down a headset or seat collar. There are no cracks or damage, you don't have to refinish anything, or pay mental postage from shark dealers selling from the U.S, or even custom charges.

the best part it is, if you hunt down an old scrap Cannondale with XT group (like the recent ebay listed items selling recently) for About £120 you could buy all the additional items you would need to make this a spec and period correct Master Piece. At most... all you would have to do, is strip and clean the robbed parts from the Donor bike, and if being really picky get Gil to send you a couple of decals.

It even has an Answer stem.

A turn key Shop floor Classic Vintage bike for peanuts to my mind.

The History of this model speaks volumes.....
