Yeti ASR SL 2005 Medium £550

This may not be a particularly old but it certainly is a model set to become a classic and I am sure will be appreciated.

I have owned this Yeti from new bought in summer 2005. It has been used but not abused. Everything operates as it should and the suspension is nice and tight and has been serviced by the Yeti importer.

Most of the kit is XT apart from an SLX rear mech but I have a correct XT if the buyer prefers.

Wheels are Hope with Mavic 717 rims. Headset is Chris King. Brakes Elixir SL with matching discs. Seatpost Thomson. Saddle Specialized Alias.

She was semi retired but I rode her today and she beat everyone in my large group up all the hills. These are seriously light bikes.

Size is medium and suitable for 5 9 to 5 11 approximately.

Condition is very good with no dents or through the paint scratches. She does need a good polish as being washed after each muddy ride the paint loses its lustre.

I am asking £550 and I would prefer the buyer collects so that they can fully inspect but courier delivery to the UK is possible at an additional cost.

Based in Sutton, Surrey.

Price drop to £499 before I put over to eBay at the weekend. Any delivery (UK only) would be on top.

I am surprised I have not had any response as these bikes have always been in the top few cross country racers of all time along with brands such as Santa Cruz, Cannondale and Specialized.

Many thanks

These are 4 inch travel bikes. Front and rear are mated. These are Reba Race forks with remote lockout from around 2008.

Thanks

Frame only at £400 as the bulk of the value is in the frame although the parts are reasonable spec.

Thanks

To be fair, you have advertised it in the wrong part of the website! Why not try the 'For Sale 1998 -->' forum as well?

Does this mean you're selling the parts for £99? If so, I'll take them!

Its always the split vs no split dilemma. Seller does not want to split as it is less hassle to sell complete. Buyer fancies the frames as they have parts etc etc.. If I split then I have hassle and earning more money out of the parts is the compensation for that. If you take the bike complete you sell the parts and the frame becomes cheaper so it swings both ways. Either way you get a good frame at a reasonable price.

The bikes worth more than £499 in any case. These sell on eBay for around £600 and the frames for over £400. I just want a no hassle sale so that I can shop for a new roadie hence the reasonable price.

Cheers

£400 is to much for me at the moment unfortunately, too many other irons an all that, but £499 seems a good price for the complete bike.

Good luck with the sale. ;)
