XTR M900 8spd STIs - available for cantis?

Hi all,

I am in the (slow) process of collecting XTR parts for a Yeti Pro FRO build, and I want to use canti-brakes to utilise the original guides, but I also wanted to go 8spd.
Can anyone give me a definite answer as to whether the M900/M910 era STIs were available in 8spd to work with canti-bakes, or were they only for the 'new' V-brakes?

The XTR M900 groupset was designed for cantilever brakes and also introduced 8 speed for the first time in late 91 for the 1992 model year.

It wasn't until the the M950 groupset that V-brakes were introduced in late 1996.

So yes the M900 or M910 STIs will be 8 speed and canti compatible.
