XTR brake / shifter combo M970 - info required and sale

Hiya, I have recently purchased a 1999 zaskar and was surprised to find these XTR (9 speed, presume M952?) dual action brake/gear levers, similar to road bike levers. Anyone know what they are called? I am a bit of a newbie to this stuff so excuse my ignorance.

I think I’m going to sell if anyone is interested. They are in pretty damned good condition. Minor scuffs but very smart.

Any info about these would be gratefully received. No idea how much they are worth, can’t seem to find similar on eBay.

They are m970 dual controls, marmite some love that style some hate it!

Think they’re 9 speed, probably better posting in the ‘98 onwards section, not sure of their release date but much newer than the stuff in this part of the forum.
