XT V Brake leaver - shims?

Hi,

Just picked up a pair of XT V brake leavers, one is perfect, the other seems to be missing a shim (see pics below). Anyone know if this spare part can be purchased and if so, where?

because only beginner riders use the power reducing spacers.

so.... you're saying a pro like me won't need them?
If for the sake of argument I did want to find a replacement spacer, are they available?

You will not need them.
The front setup gives you the normal cable pull, but increased power and modulation when the pads on the rims.
The rear is often setup like that (half way) to reduce the power a bit, it's easier to 'drag' the brake.

Someone must have them lying around, there are originally two in either side. The newer style ones may fit?

And your hands will not have to put as much effort in.
