Xenon Crankset Spindle Compatibility?

I bought one of these it arrived today,

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Token-Carbon ... xygPtSsXp3

but my Xenon cranks do not seem to sit far enough on to the spindle with hand pressure alone? I have not tried drawing them on with the crank bolts for fear of stretching them.

Did I buy the wrong bb spindle type?

Re:

Check if it is ISO taper and you've not got a JIS taper by mistake. The jis taper is a bit fatter and a campag chainset wont go in as far.
Saying that, I have successfully fitted campag cranks onto Shimano sealed BBs for pub/commuter bikes and it's worked successfully. I'm not sure whether they would be loose if I subsequently would have tried to fit them to a campag BB

Thanks,it is by the advert an ISO taper and the bb I received does state ISO on the box. Also the length of 111mm spindle by Token is only available as an ISO spindle.

I believe I can draw the cranks onto the spindle, but they will for ever after be useless on an ISO spindle if this is by some quirk JIS!?

Re:

Unfortunately, that is probably the wrong BB.

There are 2 types of 111 mm Campagnolo bottom bracket, one symmetrical for most double cranks and one asymmetrical for Record triples.

I've seen a few like that over the years where they just say 111 ISO and don't say what for.

Thank you, when you say asymmetrical do you mean across the flats?I have just measured mine and it is symmetrical across the flats right at the smallest point at the end of the taper, which is the correct width for ISO as far as I can find out online.

It could be manufacturing tolerances of the taper of the flats, maybe?I have put the original Miche Primato bb back in and I'l leave it at that for the time being until it maybe unwinds itself again!lol

The asymmetry only refers to the length of spindle sticking out from each side - nothing to do with the flats.
You've got the same problem I encountered with these so-called Campag compatible ISO bottom brackets from Token - they aren't! The cranks don't go on as far as they do with a genuine Campag spindle but its a bit further than with a JIS one. In the end I didn't use it and bought a Centaur BB for a few quid more that obviously fitted perfectly.

Thank you, that is good to know!I will likely do similar and buy a genuine campag bb and not use this one!

Regards.
