Just a quickie - i recently bought one of the x-lite stems with the holes in it.
What the hell was it called? I really want some information on it. Can anybody help?

I've just bought one as well and can't find any info on it either.

The clamp bolts are 6/4 titanium and the sleeve is 'Delrin'. It's certainly a nicely machined thing, if a bit heavy..
I don't think they made them for very long, in the mid 90's (?).
-and it came as standard on a top titanium Raleigh in about '96/'97

There was a diablo, but this is not it.

Im going with L168, it rings a bell.
I bought it anodized red/pink then last night stripped it!

That looks a pretty good job :) and yse it was an XLite L168 stem, I think the retail was around £146 but it did not come with titanium hardware.

It was my favorite stem at one point, I ended up with three, useed with Answer Hyperlights and an X-lite ZE post in my old Raleigh Ti days.

It was avialable in 115mm and 135mm both with a 3* rise I think, in either a silver gunmetal, red, or blue, with plenty of Xlite candy such as stem caps and spacers too to go with em.

In fact, I am sure I still have some Xlite spacers....

i had one of those, thought it was called "xlr8" as in accelerate? or was that my imagination or bad memory?
