Hi all.

Just built up a carbon bike, and now looking for a retro project. Looking for a ratty, but straight, Reynolds or Columbus frameset. I’m missing my old Columbus Fondriest.

I’ve got about £100 to chuck at it.

I might be asking too much given my budget, but let’s see, eh?

I’m in Cheshire and can collect.

Re:

Has the fact that the whole nation have become cyclists meant that there’s no frames kicking about, or am I totally unrealistic to think that £100 would buy a beater frame?

Got a Peugeot 653 with a ridiculous story behind it, that means you could have that for £100 posted or I could meet you at a suitable distance at an M62 service station with it. Can send pix if you like.

It's a Pug 653 frame and forks but repainted years ago in yellow and blue Raleigh Dynatech colours with Raleigh decals. Apparently it was done for a team mechanic who couldn't very well be seen riding a Peugeot. I've no idea whether that's right but it is a Peugeot 653. I bought it thinking it was a 56 (very top end of my size range) and without measuring but it's a 58.

It was a very good paint job but a bit tired looking now and some of the decals are gone.

Any use?

Re: frame

Hi,can take photos ,got a 531 longstaffe 58cm square ,it’s got storage chips from me being a moron ,before coming to me it was v v good condition and not crashed ,other than being by longstaffe it’s a pretty normal 531 build so not oversized like a Genius etc ,other than name on frame it looks pretty normal,I was looking for £250 due to it being a longstaffe ,thanks Stef

I have this mid-eighties, high end (Columbus SL) Guerciotti. Size 57 cm. No structural damage but has the usual paintchips (good overall condition though). Chrome on forks has spotted so this could use a re-chrome one day.

Looking for 240 € shipped to the UK.
